In Loving Memory of Ernestine Raptosh<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

This month, we honor the life and memory of Ernestine Raptosh, a beloved resident who touched the hearts of so many at The Goldton at Spring Hill. Ernestine called our community home for more than four and a half years, sharing that journey with her beloved twin sister, Norma Jean.<\/p>

Born and raised in Crab Orchard, Kentucky, Ernestine later moved with her family to Dayton, Ohio. There, she met the love of her life, John Raptosh, on a blind date. They were married on September 5, 1964, at the chapel on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and built a beautiful life together, raising two children and cherishing three grandchildren.<\/p>

Ernestine had a love for life\u2019s simple joys. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, beach vacations, and spending precious time with her family. She and John also enjoyed many happy years as snowbirds, spending summers in Ohio and winters in Florida, where she loved line dancing, playing Bingo, cards, and participating in community activities.<\/p>

After John\u2019s passing in 2020, Ernestine and Norma Jean made The Goldton their home in November 2021. Ernestine\u2019s gentle spirit, warm smile, and kind heart will be deeply missed by residents and team members alike. We are grateful for the time we shared with her and extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and loved ones.
