Felix \"Skip\" Binder<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Skip was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After graduating from high school, he proudly enlisted in the United States Army, where he achieved the rank of Master Sergeant. Before being deployed overseas, Skip was stationed in San Francisco. He was asked to organize a farewell party for the soldiers preparing to ship out, and he did such an outstanding job that he was asked to remain there to continue planning and organizing these special events for outgoing troops. Skip served his country with honor and was honorably discharged in 1952.
Following his military service, Skip built a successful career in the insurance industry. He worked for AIG Insurance and later for Marketfinders in Pittsburgh, serving as an insurance manager. He also spent a short time living in Cleveland, Ohio, for work before returning to Pittsburgh.
Skip is the proud father of two children, Karen and Mark. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Penguins, and spending time playing cards, especially Hearts and Gin Rummy. He still plays an impressive game of pool and ping pong, and he loves to sing and spend time at the piano.
Skip’s wonderful sense of humor, friendly personality, and enthusiasm for life make him a joy to be around.
