We are proud to recognize Vera Allen as our Resident of the Month!
Vera is a retired homemaker and the devoted wife of her late husband, Ben Allen. She is the proud mother of two daughters, Vickie and Charlene. Family means the world to Vera, and holiday dinners have always been a very special tradition for her.
Throughout her life, Vera had the opportunity to travel to England, which sparked her love for traveling. She especially enjoyed visiting Turkey and Scotland, along with many other places she fondly remembers.
Vera enjoys walking, cooking, sewing, and participating in church activities. She is also an animal lover and has a cat named Kitty Baby and three dogs named Rocky, Brutus, and Lucy.
At Oakview Park, Vera has become our honorary devotional leader on Wednesdays, sharing her faith and encouragement with others. She truly is a joy and blessing to everyone here, and we are so thankful to have her as part of our community.
