Plus!<br>\u2022 Stops and chats and always smiling.<br>\u2022 Very good person.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Elaine was born in Waterville, Maine. She moved with her family to Oakland, Maine when she was 7 years old. Her father ran the mill in Oakland during the war, while her mother was busy raising 9 children. Her oldest sister helped support the family working in the town as a singer. Elaine is the 3rd oldest of 5 girls and 4 boys. She attended Williams High School.<\/p><p>After graduating high school, she began her life-long career working with the State of Maine where she worked until she retired. She tells the story of going to Florida with a friend and falling in love with the \u201cbusy-ness\u201d of the area, so she moved to St. Petersburg, Florida after retirement.<\/p><p>After living in Florida for 30 years, Elaine decided to move to Birmingham, Alabama to be closer to her daughter.
