Originally from Fort Payne, Alabama, Clydia\u2019s passion for needlework began at a young age, sitting at her mother\u2019s feet as she sewed for their large family. That early inspiration led to a lifetime of creating\u2014first with quilts, now with embroidery.<\/p>

During her years on the family farm with her husband Alvin, she found time between chores and raising children to stitch her way into a new legacy. Over the decades, Clydia has created more than 50 quilts\u2014many now cherished heirlooms in the hands of children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.<\/p>

\u201cThese will be around long after I\u2019m gone,\u201d she shared during her recent television appearance. \u201cEach stitch carries a story.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
