Stanley Menefee<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Born and raised in East Limestone, Stanley Menefee grew up working on his family\u2019s cotton, soybean, and corn farm, developing a strong work ethic and deep appreciation for agriculture. He served in the Alabama National Guard, retiring with the rank of Staff Sergeant, and later became one of the first graduates of Auburn University\u2019s County Government Program.
Stanley is widely recognized as one of Limestone County\u2019s most influential leaders, known for his integrity, accountability, and dedicated public service. He served primarily as Chairman of the Limestone County Commission, helping lead the county through significant growth and development.
In 2013, Stanley and Athens Mayor Ronnie Marks received the Michael D. Roberts North Alabama Excellence Award for their leadership in economic development and attracting major industry to the area.
Today, Stanley is a proud father who fondly remembers his late wife.
