Doris Spears<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Doris Elaine Arnold Spears was born on March 11,1951 to her late parents, Kyrus and Hazel Arnold in Dothan, AL. Doris has an older brother, Ron, that she still adores to this day. She was a proud graduate from Dothan High School, class of 1969.
Doris met her true love, Philip, when she was a senior in high school. They both attended Troy University in Troy and got married on August 26, 1972. Doris graduated with a bachelor\u2019s degree in Elementary Education. She taught 4th grade for 25 years in Dothan. After retiring, she still had a passion for teaching, so she worked as a part-time tutor at Rehobeth Elementary until the COVID pandemic caused schools to shut down.
Doris has two children, Ben (46) and Anna (41). Ben and his wife, Amber, have her first grandchild, Trey (20). Anna has twins, Carter and Caroline (12). Doris\u2019s grandchildren have her heart.
During summers and in her free time, Doris loved spending countless hours on the beach reading a good book or planting her beautiful flowers. She attended Greystone United Methodist where she volunteered with the Cheerful Hearts Ministry.
Doris has a love for people and visitors. If she was expecting any company, you could guarantee she\u2019d been in the kitchen baking one of her delicious desserts.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
