Marcus was born and raised in Grenada, Mississippi, to two traveling ministers. He spent multiple years traveling from state to state with family before enlisting with the United States Marines immediately after high school in Chicago, Illinois. Marcus spent the next eight years as an infantryman completing multiple tours in Iraq and other parts of the Middle East with the Marines Corps until 2008. He soon transitioned to the US Army as an artilleryman, where he spent an additional eight years serving overseas. From there he managed multiple resorts and hotels throughout the East Coast before diving into the healthcare field as an Executive Director for several communities.<\/p>

Marcus has spent the better part of his life caring for and serving others; from the military to healthcare, his passion is people. His ultimate commitment, to providing the elderly with quality care as they lead happy lives, is his duty. He has two wonderful children, Makiyah and Alex. When he\u2019s not working, he enjoys cooking, good music and exploring the city. Marcus believes in leading by example and enjoys being \u201cin the mix\u201d of the happenings of the community. My name is Sherri Long and I have been in the senior living industry since 2016. My passion for caring for others started at a young age. I was raised by my selfless and loving Grandmother, while she also cared for my Mother that was ill. She taught me that you should live the Golden Rule and that people will always remember how you make them feel. It is my goal every day to make sure our seniors know that they are cared for, respected and most of all loved! I was born and raised in the Savannah area. I attended Armstrong Atlantic State University following high school where I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Health Administration.<\/p>

I later went back to school and attended Savannah Technical College, where I graduated with an Associates Degree in Business Management with a concentration in Human Resources. My experience in senior living includes being a part of a team that opened a new community in the area as the Business Office Manager. I later moved into a sales and marketing role and was at that community for 6 years.
I most recently was the Director of Admissions and Marketing for a near by skilled nursing and assisted living community. That role allowed me to expand my knowledge and learn so much about the skilled nursing side of senior living! Hi! My name is Josie Kirchner, and I am the Wellness Director at Legacy at Savannah Quarters. I have been a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for nearly eight years and began my senior living career right here at Legacy in 2020 as the Memory Care Coordinator.<\/p>

Throughout my career, I have gained experience across a variety of healthcare settings, including critical care units in the hospital, a children\u2019s crisis unit, and hospice care. I am also a certified CPR instructor and became a Certified Dementia Practitioner in 2024, continuing to expand my knowledge and passion for providing quality care.<\/p>

In 2025, I was honored to be recognized as a member of the President\u2019s Club for my high performance within the Clinical Department at Atlas Senior Living.<\/p>

Outside of work, I am a proud mom of three\u2014Christian, Aubree, and Kalani\u2014and happily married to my husband, CJ. Our family stays busy with travel softball and All-Star cheer. In my free time, I enjoy caring for plants and bringing them back to life.<\/p>

I was born and raised in the small town of Pembroke, Georgia. I earned her Associate of Arts degree from East Georgia State College in December 2016, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation from Georgia Southern University in May 2018. Shortly after, in June 2018, I became a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) through the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRS).<\/p>

With a deep passion for serving others, I have dedicated my career to working with the older population. I later continued my education at Saint Leo University, where I obtained my Master\u2019s degree in Healthcare Management in June 2022.<\/p>

I have extensive experience working with individuals living with Alzheimer\u2019s and other forms of dementia, a population I have served for over nine years. I find great joy in creating meaningful, engaging activities that enhance the quality of life for my residents. My work is especially meaningful to me, as it reminds me of my grandparents and reinforces my passion for making a difference in the lives of others.<\/p>

Hi Legacy at Savannah Quarters! I\u2019m Sierra, originally from Baltimore, Maryland\u2014home of crab cakes and unpredictable weather. I stumbled into my passion for helping seniors over a decade ago while volunteering\u2026 and never looked back (turns out, they\u2019re way cooler than most people my age).<\/p>

I got my start in Activities, where I put my creativity to work and quickly learned that bingo is serious business. My journey\u2019s taken me from Maryland to Florida and now Georgia\u2014thanks to my husband\u2019s career and a few moving boxes. In July 2024, we welcomed our daughter Emma (aka the new boss of the house), and I also spend my downtime being walked by our two pups, Chase the Frenchie and Bailey the Lab.<\/p>

Greg joined the Legacy team as Director of Dining Services in July 2021. He brings a diverse culinary background, with experience spanning everything from fast food to fine dining. From an early age, Greg discovered a passion for cooking and enjoys exploring a wide range of flavors, cuisines, and food cultures.<\/p>

He earned an associate degree in Hospitality Management from Jamestown Business College and obtained his CDM\/CFPP (Certified Dietary Manager\/Certified Food Protection Professional) certification through the University of North Dakota in 2020.<\/p>

Greg relocated to Savannah in 2015, where he previously served as Dietary Manager at Riverview Health and Rehabilitation. During that time, he valued building relationships with residents\u2014learning their preferences, introducing new recipes, and hosting live cooking demonstrations. Hello Everyone, I\u2019m Patrick. I was born in San Bernardino and grew up in sunny San Diego, where I discovered my lifelong talent for taking things apart and occasionally forgetting how they went back together. After high school, I joined the United States Navy in 1994 and served aboard the USS Belleau Wood in Japan. That is where I learned three valuable lessons: teamwork, problem solving, and that duct tape is stronger than most people\u2019s emotions.<\/p>

After my honorable discharge in 1998, I joined the Navy Reserves and later the National Guard, because apparently, I do not know how to take a break. In 2001, I traded ships for houses and started working in the home building industry, where I learned the power of customer service and the magic of a good tool belt.<\/p>

By 2014, I found myself managing facilities for a large transportation company, keeping everything from offices to rail stations running like a well-oiled\u2026 well, something. In 2022, my family and I moved to Rincon, Georgia, and in 2025 I joined Legacy at Savannah Quarters as Director of Building Services.

Hi everyone! My name is Kiersten Patrizzi. I am originally from Orlando, Florida but I relocated to Rincon, GA in 2020. I like to think I was born with southern hospitality. I have always valued connection, kindness, and the importance of making people feel at home. My professional background includes many years of experience as a caregiver, where I developed a deep appreciation for supporting others with patience, compassion, and respect. My name is Leah Baker. I\u2019m a proud mother of two children and a grandmother of two beautiful granddaughters who keep me busy, laughing, and occasionally wondering how they have so much energy. I\u2019ve lived in Georgia for most of my adult life and have spent that time working hard, earning certifications, and building my career with dedication and discipline.<\/p>

I believe learning never really stops. There\u2019s always something new to figure out, improve, or master, and I enjoy taking on challenges that help me grow. I\u2019m motivated, responsible, and goal-oriented, and I try to bring a positive attitude wherever I go (even on the days when the coffee hasn\u2019t kicked in yet).<\/p>

My strengths include strong communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to stay positive and get things done. I work well with others, I\u2019m dependable, and I\u2019m always willing to learn something new, even if it takes me a minute and a second cup of coffee.<\/p>

My name is Lynell Mason, and I am originally from Philadelphia, where I was raised in a family of nurses. From a young age, I was surrounded by the values of compassion and caregiving. I began volunteering as a candy striper on weekends and during the summers, which sparked my passion for healthcare early on. Growing up in foster homes, I was fortunate to be guided by two foster mothers who were both nurses, further reinforcing the path I would eventually follow.<\/p>

I have always had a deep passion for caring for others. My career in healthcare officially began in 1989 as a volunteer at Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia. In 1992, I became a Certified Nursing Assistant, marking the start of a journey filled with meaningful connections, continuous learning, and hands-on experience.<\/p>

As a military spouse, I had the opportunity to continue my education while living in different locations. While stationed at Fort Carson in Colorado, I enrolled at the University of Phoenix, pursuing a bachelor\u2019s degree in healthcare administration\/psychology. After relocating to Fort Stewart, Georgia, in 2014, I continued my studies and proudly completed my degree in 2019 at Strayer University.
