Resident of the Month

Mrs. Merline Nesbitt was born in Belize Central America in a family with 12 siblings. She relocated to the US in 1962 from Bermuda after marrying Isaiah Nesbitt of the US Navy, Mrs. Nesbitt relocated to Little Rock Arkansas then later moved to East Orange, New Jersey, then Tampa Florida, Fort Riley, Kansas, Birmingham Alabama and now Lithia Springs Georgia.

Mrs. Nesbitt worked as a nurse for the VA for over 20 years, then worked as a volunteer in the lab for over 15 years. Mrs. Nesbitt enjoyed traveling all over the world: Paris France, Italy, Spain, Africa, Germany, England, Turkey, and the West Indie’s. Her favorite pass time in her later years was the casino until she gave up driving. She had two daughters, a son and 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
