Legacy Ridge Marietta is proud to recognize Mrs. Eleanor Banks as our July Resident of the Month!
Originally from Albany, Georgia, Eleanor has spent a lifetime building meaningful relationships, embracing new adventures, and inspiring those around her. She and her beloved husband raised their son, Judd, who has continued the family’s legacy with his wife and their twin children. Eleanor proudly shares that one of her greatest accomplishments is raising a son who values hard work and watching him build a successful, loving family of his own.
For nearly 30 years, Eleanor worked as a dedicated clerical professional with the M&M\/Mars Company, where her commitment and strong work ethic were evident throughout her career.
Life outside of work was just as exciting! She is a proud member of Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany. Eleanor and her husband enjoyed being active members of both a bowling league and the Albany Corvette Club, where they proudly showcased their Corvettes and built lasting friendships with fellow Corvette enthusiasts.
At the age of 50, Eleanor discovered a hidden talent and passion for painting. Today, she continues to create beautiful artwork and encourages others with this heartfelt advice:
“It’s never too late to discover a new hobby or passion.”
Since becoming a resident at Legacy Ridge Marietta, Eleanor says she has stepped outside her comfort zone by participating in more activities than she ever imagined. She has embraced new experiences, built meaningful friendships, and truly become an active part of our community.
Anyone who knows Eleanor can attest to her kind heart, loving spirit, and unwavering support for others. In the short time she has been with us, she has touched the lives of residents and team members alike with her warmth, positivity, and genuine compassion.
Please join us in congratulating and celebrating our July Resident of the Month, Mrs. Eleanor Banks!
