data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>This month, we are proud to recognize Mary Whelchel, affectionately known to everyone as Lib, as our Resident of the Month!<br \/>A lifelong Georgian, Lib is a proud graduate of Georgia State University. During her college years, she met her late husband, and together they built a wonderful life centered around love and family. They raised two children, Walter and Beth, and today, Lib takes tremendous pride in her family\u2014especially her granddaughter, who brings her endless joy.<br \/>Lib spent many years as a devoted stay-at-home mom and homemaker, creating a warm and welcoming home for her family. She has always loved to cook and enjoys sharing stories about the meals and memories made around the family table. She also worked as a secretary for one of the coaches at Georgia Tech, a role she remembers with pride.<br \/>Anyone who knows Lib knows she is never short on advice! She is outspoken, confident in her opinions, and always willing to share her perspective. She is deeply rooted in her faith and stands firmly by her religious and political beliefs, remaining true to the values she holds dear.<br \/>When she&#8217;s relaxing, you&#8217;ll often find Lib enjoying a good Hallmark movie\u2014especially during the Christmas season. Christmas is her favorite holiday because it reminds her of the joy, love, and togetherness that family brings.<br \/>Lib&#8217;s strong spirit, warm heart, and unforgettable personality make her a cherished part of our Legacy Ridge community.
