After 30 years at Johnston Elementary, students from three decades ago still call her their favorite teacher. Parents would often say, \u201cWhen my child goes to first grade, I\u2019m requesting Mrs. Hardie.\u201d Her life has taken her many places, but she has always left kindness, laughter, and a little magic behind.<\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px; font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif;\">Barbara enjoys listening to Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, dancing, and testing her knowledge with music trivia. She is also a loyal Georgia Bulldogs fan and loves the playing \u201cthe slots&#8221; in Las Vegas. Most of all, she loves her family and being a mom and Grandmommy.
