Susan Stephens, Executive Director of Legacy Reserve at Old Town, brings a wealth of experience to her role with 16 years as a nurse and 15 years specializing in senior care. Certified as a Dementia practitioner, she has a diverse background, including HomeHealth, sales, and marketing.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Originally from Dothan, Alabama, Susan has called Georgia home for 14 years. Married with four children and three grandchildren, she values spending spare time with family and actively engages in volunteer work at her church and within the local community.<\/div>

Our Business Office Director, Kelly Mueller, joined our team in August 2023. She attended Columbus State University and has over 25 years of experience in various business positions focused on customer service, account management, training and leadership. Kelly is passionate about serving others in whatever capacity she can. She sincerely cherishes the relationships she has quickly built with residents and employees here at our community. Outside of her time at Legacy, Kelly adores spending time with her family and friends.<\/p>

She has a fourteen-year-old daughter and a 11-year-old son. Between their school and sports, Kelly stays busy and entertained. Vanessa comes to us with 3 years of experience working with Coffee County Family Services, with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, and a core focus in hospitality.<\/p>

Being the daughter of an Army veteran, Vanessa enjoyed a childhood in Germany. After her dad\u2019s retirement from the Army at Fort Benning, the family decided to call Columbus their permanent home, and have lived here for the last\u00a0 20 years.<\/p>

Vanessa has a 3 year old, Briggs, and loves to be outdoors and spend time with family and friends. Vanessa has a passion for people and making connections.<\/p>

Originally from Massachusetts, Caitlyn moved to Georgia at the age of 5, where she grew up and has continued to build her career and family life. A proud and active mom of three, Caitlyn is dedicated to supporting her kids\u2019 extracurricular activities\u2014Sutton thrives in competitive cheer, soccer, Camryn plays year-round softball, and Ace is on the soccer field year-round as well. When she\u2019s not cheering on her kids, she enjoys comedy shows, outdoor adventures, water sports, and making lasting memories with friends and family.

Angie Brown serves as the Resident Services Manager at Legacy Reserve at Old Town, where she has been a dedicated team member since the community first opened its doors in September 2020. With a natural gift for connecting with others and a heart for service, Angie plays a vital role in ensuring residents feel supported, valued, and truly at home.<\/p>

Before joining the Legacy Reserve family, Angie spent 14 years in early childhood education, where she developed the patience, compassion, and nurturing spirit that now shine in her work with seniors. She has become a central part of the community \u2014 a friendly face, a listening ear, and a dependable advocate for residents and their families.<\/p>

Angie\u2019s passion for senior care is evident in everything she does. She is deeply committed to enriching the lives of residents and helping create the warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes Legacy Reserve at Old Town so special.<\/p>

Outside of work, Angie shares a full and joyful life with her husband, Kenny, and their three sons, Jonathan, Joshua, and Matthew. In her free time, she enjoys shopping, running, singing on her church\u2019s praise team, and spending as much time outdoors as possible with her family \u2014 especially cheering on Auburn football.<\/p>

Katrina Durr is currently the Wellness Director at Legacy Reserves at Old Town. She has 10 plus years of leadership experience in various medical settings. Her previous experiences have landed her in positions such as the Director of Clinical Education, an Infection Control Nurse, a Resident Service Director, and as a Charge Nurse just to name a few.<\/span><\/p>

Katrina Durr completed the Licensed Practical Nursing program at Virginia College of Pensacola Florida. Katrina brings a wealth of knowledge in numerous fields of nursing such as Rehab, Skilled Nursing, Dialysis, Alzheimer’s, and Geriatric Care. In 2008, she moved to Georgia and has since called the peach state her home.<\/span><\/p>

Katrina\u00a0is a mother to two sons who are 26 and 30. She is also a dog mom, to an Australian Shepherd named Diamond. When\u00a0Katrina\u00a0is not using her hands to care for the residents, she is using her hands to prepare a meal. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, laughing, and fellowshipping with friends and family.<\/span><\/p>

She is currently the Resident Care Coordinator here at Legacy Reserve at Old Town in the assisted living\/ memory care communities. She has been a part of Legacy since March 2021 shortly after the door opened. She is passionate about her job here at Legacy she strives to provide the best care to our residents. Sondra was born and raised in Columbus Georgia. I have 1 loving son, Dajhuan Phillips. Director Dining Joey Polston grew up in a small town just south of Chicago, IL. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Army serving our country around the world.\u00a0 When he left the military, he went on to graduate from college with a degree in business administration.\u00a0 Which in turn opened the door for him to enter the Food Service Industry.\u00a0 Though out his years he has been instrumental in opening several well-known restaurants.<\/p>

Ranging from fine dining, bar & grills, fast food, etc.\u00a0 Through his years of traveling, dining at exquisite establishments, he fell in love with the motto; \u201cleave people better than the way you find them\u201d!\u00a0 The food service industry gives you that unique opportunity.\u00a0 We all eat, we all enjoy food, it connects us all.\u00a0<\/p>

Our Activities Director Kimberly Fearson is originally from the Chattahoochee Valley area. Upon getting married she relocated to the Chicagoland area. After being away for 6 years she is happy to be back home. Kimberly is a graduate from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre with a Communications Minor.<\/p>

She has traveled across the country and one thing remains the same: her love for people (especially seniors). She has learned that everyone has a story and Kim loves to hear about those stories. Her previous job experiences include regional theatre, customer service, and hospitality.
