She was born in Bedford, Indiana, where she<br \/>grew up with her sister, and later worked in office roles for several companies following high school. Sue was married to her husband Wayne, for 51 years. After serving in merchant Marines and Army Wayne continued his career as a railroad engineer. A role he greatly enjoyed. Sue\u2019s son Pat and his wife Lisa<br \/>relocated to the area and encouraged Sue to make Winter Haven her home. She has lived at Lake Howard Heights for ten years and values the close relationship she shares with her family, enjoying weekly Sunday lunches with her family. An active member of the community, Sue regularly participates in bingo, pokeno, and musical and special events. Joy is a proud mom and grandmother. She has<br>four children, three girls and one boy, 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grands whom she loves all very dearly. She makes us<br>aware of not only her love for her babies but the community as well. She is that friendly face that will talk to just about everyone and she loves to talk. She enjoys all her friends here at LHH and even talks everyone up to try out new activities. We love that she also shares history and knowledge of our beautiful Winter Haven as she too grew up in the lakes around<br>here.
